Duke’s Racist Rager

Duke University students, who held an Asian themed rager, displayed how ignorant and low the United States has become. If it was a respectful party toward Asian heritage and lifestyle, they would have served tea instead of alcohol and had meditation instead of sexual romps. How will this type of disrespect toward any race progress us into a better America? The Harlem theater was designed to show excellence among Black American performers and it too, has hit the downward slope of ridiculing another race to make themselves feel dominant.

It is a shame, yes, shame! Shame on the parents, athletes, actors, our country’s leaders, you, and me; for allowing our future (our children) to have role models of such low morals and actions to immolate. They are now showing us what we have taught them, like no respect for anyone outside of your own private world. Isn’t it what the world today is all about staying in our own little bubbles of existence?

Complain about the government, you voted them in office. Complain about the violence in our country; you gave them the violent games, R rated movies, allowed them to watch questionable television, and a home life of strife and isolation. Stop complaining because we created the environment we are all having to endure these days. Start looking for ways to reverse the damage. And start at home by becoming the small pebble in the middle of the pond with the little ripple. Quake it to create another ripple, a little bigger and a little bigger, until your ripple of positive effect reaches into your community. Wow, how far could we go?

Philippians 2:3 (NKJV)
Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself.
