When we look at terrorism and the repercussions which are being felt around the world, every one has an opinion as to what we need to do here in America.
Yes, terrorists are blood thirsty, no conscious, demented animals. We all agree on that point. And I believe we should readily arm ourselves when it comes to protecting our homes and family from terrorists and ordinary criminals.
But there is a fine line we must walk also, between helping the world and our own country, and becoming blood thirsty, no conscious, demented animals ourselves.
The first problem Americans are now fighting over is whether we will take into our country 10,000 Syrian refugees. Before the yelling starts, get the facts. It is a two-year process before the actual “process” of allowing them into our country. With the way things work in our government give it another two years before a decision will even be made!
The second problem is that Americans see us as allowing the refugees in, means we will not take care of our homeless and veterans.
One Question: Are we even taking care of them now?
When was the last time you fed someone who was homeless, helped a vet, or worked a shelter in your area?
Before you start complaining, start doing first!
I believe the main agenda we should focus on is the recruitment of terrorist and sleeper cells right here in America. Waiting for their orders to begin their attacks!
And if you are so blind as to believe ISIS does not recruit in America, maybe you ought to read the book called The Blood of Lambs. In it a former terrorist sent to America to recruit, found prime targets within North Carolina and South Carolina’s poor.
The very bible belt of Christians.
The South and the biggest place in America where our poor and our vets feel uncared for, by the Churches and Christian citizens. They feel the snobbery of the church’s shut doors and the criticizing glares from the congregational cliques.
So where do they turn?
They turn to someone stating they are representing Allah. Allah who is feeding their family, paying their bills, and giving them a comfortable place to sleep. Slowly and systematically they are reeled into the darkest evil imaginable. American children and women are now bombs! American men are now Isis’ fighters!
What? You are saying! Yes, when we turn our backs and a blind eye to the problems within America; terrorists turn it into opportunities for themselves.
So, how can we even undo the decades of damage already done?
(I sincerely hope I have scared you into action! And I don’t mean creating a personal arsenal.)
We have to start taking care of our own!
We have to start leaving our church doors open with warm welcoming committees ready to meet their needs!
Create your own organization! Sew blankets, take food, work the shelters, help with job employment and be diligent!
And report anything you think is out of the ordinary or looks suspicious!
Do not take things for granted!
AND PRAY! PRAY FOR WISDOM AND DISCERNMENT IN ALL SITUATIONS! PRAY FOR GUIDANCE ON HOW YOUR TALENTS CAN HELP!
PRAY FOR AMERICA!
STOP COMPLAINING, STOP POLITICAL POSTURING!
And that is my answer to fighting terrorism in America.
God Bless You!
