I Hate To Do This…

I know I decided to dedicate my blogs to Jesus for the month of December. But I believe this information is too important to be ignored. And I am sure Jesus would want it shared so that we can stop this evil that has invaded our world!

Here in Houston, Texas, we know all too well about sex trafficking.  Our I-10 corridor is their main avenue of travel and Super Bowl weekend is their main traveling dates. Our churches provide programs to educate the public about this horrible crime.  And we even have private ranches for the children who have been trafficked.  Trying to help them back into society and not a life of prostitution.

I will say it is a daunting task put in front of us, believers.  For the sex trafficking industry brings in a reported excess of 32 billion dollars a year.  Now that is a Goliath.  We need to be David with a sling shot and a stone, covered in prayer, and backed by God.

Just because you do not live in Mexico or Texas, and you are not hispanic or a child, does not mean you will not be a target!  Everyone is a target!  The video below is about Sherri Papini, who is fortunate to be alive. Because most do not live to tell the world of their horrendous torture and unspeakable acts they endure.

If you want to educate yourself about sex trafficking and what you can do to help, try this site out. I even printed it for my own information.

Always remember no one is safe and no place is safe.  Not until we step forward, covered in prayer, to battle this unspeakable evil.  Please pray for Sherri Papini and her family!

Like everyone, I am very much human, flaws and all.
